~ The EyeA Poem by~ A True Love Story
~ The Eye He stood in the eye, and
danced On the Iris, turning circles
like He was waiting for salvation As the wind could bring Velveteen wings, to his body To carry him away, Out from that place where he Couldn't root as much as he
adored Yet her eye, merged with light Of the sunbeams, mirrored The effect between what she
felt Drowned in tears, of happiness And his long desire to touch
her By knowing he would see her In three days, separated from
now Where two could melt together
in one In their place of rest of the
week Was illuminating the thought
and patience Their hang out to dance by
cold winters In the snow, and laugh and
jump With La Luna of light above
them Made each warm inside, Visions, in the next week to
another Each time anew as the years
passed Another day dreamt away, yet
two to go She danced in the eye of
future, He embraced her in their Sparkling mirrored connection On both retinas, blood pumping
desire To see an eye of true love Eye in eye, face to face As days past by all became the
weekly Love counting years of today ~ Elisa Laura
