When I dozed off into a deep sleep

Curled eyelashes smiled

Cheeks blushed and

My mouth that peaceful

 

I saw a new world,

One of pink travels

Cotton visions

And surreal love

 

I had a dream

 

I walked through

Shadowed roads

Winked to silken skies

Smelled the Cherry Blossom

 

Danced in circles

Sung out loud

Faced my youth

Into deeper levels

 

I had a dream

 

Heard a violin, a Cello

And some piano notes

I touched the sky

And kissed the ground

 

Walked by the fields of hope

Resting and lying on my back

Then I smiled and smelled

My pillow

 

I must have had a dream

I think it's interesting how we are able to do anything in our dreams as opposed to real life...also see anything, touch and smell anything, go anywhere we'd like. Our minds always take us to new places or just the places we'd like to be. Our dreams are the perfect place for fantasy to take place :)

That is so true dear friend. I have each night at least 2 vivid dreams, sometimes more, and always when I am just about to wake up.... "A vivid REM sleep" this one I had the first of January... Thank you so much for your words, thoughts, and philosophy with a most interesting subject, dreaming... :)

Yeah, I've had some interesting dreams lately. I don't remember quite what they were about, but I do know they took me to a new place that set me free.

So many times, we look back on our youth, and find only pain. We think about our inner child and find hurt. But this, this makes me think you found peace and beauty in the past, and that is comforting, like a very nice dream.

I love cherry blossom. They are so unique. They make the world look a little less ordinary and more surreal.

The imagery in this is stunning. It really draws me in. As if I am walking this dream with you and feeling the same emotions and hearing the cello. Just for a moment.

I really like this poem, it is a dream.
What really stood out to me was the Danced in Circles, Sung out loud.
My wife tells me I go places in my dreams. I laugh and laugh, and
I sing out loud... The other morning I consciously new I was singing,
and my wife said it was an awesome song about healing yourself. It is the connection with or subconscious that is so amazing. I think our subconscious can go to other dimensions at any time, it remembers what wonderful beings we truly are. We have been programmed to forget, but if we really try we can start to remember. Touched the Sky and kissed the Ground, is the connection with Father Sky, and Mother Earth, when we are in their love at the same time we become the Holy Child. I loved the softness of the cotton New World, Pink travels beautiful. Winked to silken skies, again very cool line, very playful and again soft and warm. Thanks for writing this and sharing, I love it. blessings to you Elisa - keep your dreams alive and follow where your heart leads.

it is a facinating subject...dream interpretation. My daughter bought me a dream book for christmas to help analyze my dreams....I had a nightmare the other night and it didn't help all that much, I think it is better to go with your instincts on what the dream meant. This one was lovely, and written beautifully. Like you walked on a road to heaven.
