Each page filled with gossamer cotton layers~

Hand-bound with precious care

The smell of history,  woven in magic,

The calligraphic beauty of every word

 

The narrators soul alive,

Dancing with time jumps

Almost trial pleasing illusions

That come alive~

 

Ages breathe through young lungs

Felt in the most sensible way,

Just how you live through me

I keep growing each day~

 

Pain, love and treasures,

I find on the journey

Of reading a book~

It will forever live through me

The way I gave it a look

Wow, Elisa my friend!! Amazing, fantastical work as always. I'm getting a much better sense of the story you're weaving together now. I haven't read all the "~" poems, as you call them, but when I have the time, I'd love to.

I honestly think you're an amazing fantasy writer, and would love to see a whole book of Elysion poems, or something like that. But then again, that would mean you'd have to make it public (I assume). And then you're thrown to the wolves, aren't you?? It's tough to share our inner worlds with the reading public, because not all of them will understand.

Eric, I can't thank you enough tonight, Thank you for being a friend, by being a friend. ;-) Sigh, it's not in my nature, to promote myself, Eric. I am glad I could inspire just people like yourself, and that's enough.... :) I'm rather writing in silence, and post my inspiration for a select group, who understand, then a whole crowd.... :) I loved your thoughts though, they are well meant, and really sweet. Someone said books are the treasures of the soul , we read become learn . Books become part of us , journeying with us in life.Lovely write.

That is what I think too Moon, books are written out of wisdom, from each other narrator, and to spread a word into the world... people who read much, become wisdom, thank you so much, I love books, I guess, I can't be without them....

they help us transverse universes...take us places we have never been...take us out of our world into theirs...wonderful diversions from which we can learn much.
