~ The Land of Her

Let her sleep in beauty’s landscape

Do not ever wake her up

Leave the little birdies singing

For she is dreaming in her cup

Let the trees play with all fresh air,

And  let the climate change

Let every season but to come

And accept this isn’t strange

Do never touch her sensitive skin

Before she will be awake

Dance with her thoughts while she’s asleep

That’s the beauty you should take

Powerful write Eli, I could feel the emotion in this. So I went and read it like a few times more :) I know the path, peace and tranquillity, but the small things within that world, couldn't allow it because without the Land the small things wouldn't have a place and there would be a humongous gap. But all things knew, butterflies and ants alike, that they couldn't speak only pray... Well done Eli you wrote a fabulous poem!! :) loved the way you wrote this well done.

: )
So simple, yet complexly beautiful. Sometimes, all we need is a reminder of the fragility of true beauty. Maybe all the moms and dads of the world are right in telling children not to touch. Some things are just meant to be seen and cherished for being seen. Not everything in life is a posession. Some things, should remain a beautiful memory. Beautifully captured, as ever Elisa

Let her find her rest in sleep
Dreaming dreams in a far off place
She takes no never, never mind
And breathes so still
At heaven's gate ..

I can't tell you how much this means to me .. I remember waiting for a loved to wake, and I prayed that where ever she was, she had peace .. .. tears fall remembering it all ..........

Love, and hugs .. You are so dear to me ............ Jazz

The song both of the poem and the one that is playing are mesmerizing.
Eli is truly synonymous to beauty.
I can totally relate to this one since I have a gentleboy wherein I know of the fact about the fragility of being in a state of sleeping. Disturbing one while asleep specially for children does not only create bad mood but it also affects the mental development of a child. I think this applies too to older one, not in the term of mental development but in a sense that we live in a harsh reality of life and sleep dreaming can be a escape from this even for a while :)
