~ The Man of Gold

When dark nights fell, and the sun was under,

          His bones started to petrify,

His body became bigger, his eyes opened wide;

          His lungs breathed the nighttime sky

He was made of bullion, inside his heart,

          His love was gilded like a real ray of gold

Human at day, a god at night, he seemed,

          He lived precious into his parallel world

His other half was far away,

          She was made of Silver with Ruby stones;

He always dreamed of her, when he felt alone,

          And embraced her with all his platonic bones

Their whispers crossed the universe,

          For they were made to merge like precious white gold

Now he had to turn human for the sun came up,

          So she could dream, of his voice, like a lullaby told

When dark nights fell, and the sun was under,
His bones started to petrify,
His body became bigger, his eyes opened wide;
His lungs breathed the nighttime sky===================>My favorite stanza, hooked me from the get-go!

This entire piece, Elisa, was an epic story, at least part of one, if an elegant, poetic prose. That thumping, battle score was an excellent accompaniment to an all ready outstanding presentation...

Magnificent!

Thank you so very much :) really!
A poetic Love story, amidst a world of fantasy. I think I was born in the wrong world, the wrong time, or the wrong dimension, for it is places like this, I yearn for. Beautifully written!

I will come back soon for you friend... late late here... :)
You never stop to amaze me . This is a very good write. Your imagination and wordings are on a different plane. The way I understand is that two distinct person lives and inhabits the same body. When darkness fell the other one sleeps and the other emerges. They both long for each other but couldn't exist together on the same reality or plane. They live and exist in parallel time and place as in night and day. Wow such profound imagination.

Aw, a very nice love story! I love all the imagery you put into this poem, and wow this would make a very nice full blown story! Your little clip here; however, tells such a beautiful part of this love story.

"His love was gilded like a real ray of gold" this had to be one of my favorite lines for sure. Love it :D

Thank you so very much my sweet friend, I will think about that... thanks for the imput.
This is such an epic love story Elisa... "love was gilded like a real ray of gold"....True love is gold. (:

I love the way you worded it with.."dark nights fell, and the sun was under" and...."precious into his parallel world - His other half was far away"

What a romantic notion with the supernatural leaning to him changing at night then having to return to humanity with her still in this realm hearing his fingerprints left on her world...wow I love this engaging poem. I love the fantasy too!! xo joshua

The thing that I so love about your writing is that it is all so uniquely your own. I love, and admire, your poetic voice, because you speak without boundaries; your words have wings, my friend!

This piece was magical...I am a lover of fantasy and mythology, and I saw both of those things in this piece that flowed so gently and yet with quiet strength. Well done.
