A Poem by
"

~ I know we love Green E.L. Elisa Laura, the state of being total off the world, of feeling love, and being sick... of love, sick and tired of being sick and tired....

"

~ I know we love Green

Through my window pane, this morning,

I saw a little bird resting on the

Branch of my giant

Oak Tree in front of my house;

It must have been you, resting

From a long trip, gasping for some air,

Talking to the morning magpies,

And reaching for me as my day clock

Has passed for days, into nightly slumbers;

Half fuzzy I wake, and see you there,

Reaching me, but my head is too numb;

Too tired, of all I’ve been through,

I can’t even turn from right to left,

So I speak to you in my dreams…

Following out of sight, flitting in at the edges of perception, the Cheshire cat disappearing among the trees and materialising when the chaos plaguing Alice is most thick. Is that Fate I see in the distance? Or is it the echoes of the past come back to visit?
Such a personal and poignant poem, Elisa. Incredible. :) xx

Yes, I often feel that nature speaks to us. So often one sees something in the natural world that seems significant to us. I hope the lady in the poem finds comfort in her dreams and can move on. Liked the music as well.

You are VERY welcome :)
My promises are late, but they are sincere. I read this last week and truly wanted to share my thoughts on this. This made me feel so damn melancholy....the waking world is just too much some days. How unfortunate it is to rather dream than live. Despite feeling blue I found your magpie to be truly enchanting. I wish you strength, health, and happiness.

I'm so glad you have your poetry to speak for you. xo

What a sweetness of loving words wrapped in something very personal, Elisa. The colour of your bird is special, tis Nature's own hue, is complex yet beautifully everywhere - as is love for another person.
'So I speak to you in my dreams…' - that's what dreams are for. (You, wishing you well)
