~ The Road to You

~ The Road to You

A Poem by
"

~ The Road to You, I was so close, I was there, You were too... A feel good Poem...

"

~ The Road to You

There were so many melodies,

      On my way to you,

But none were as strong, as

       The melody of love,

On that sweet hot

       Summer day,

I sensed you in the air,

In my car, from the asphalt

You were there;

      Also where I walked,

And where I lay,

       You were there,

And there was me…

The Road of love

     At the end of June,

Never felt so good,

      Never felt so free...

Your writing style is quite rare. Everything is balance. Not over crowded with metaphors that could confuse your readers . Here in this piece I felt that I was the one being followed, being pursued. Intriguing cleverness of the chosen placement and flow of words. One word I could describe you with this piece Elisa . You're " NATURAL " ... Thoughts and words just floats not forced even gravity respects your thoughts motives and desire and gradual descents and you don't care where you land. " And there was me " ...one simple line..so innocent...so lovely at the same time.
You know what I got after reading this piece ? You simplified life. Its not really complicated and scary and hurtful at all to love even though its not reciprocated . Wow..I'm so glad I check you out.

Strange and beautiful things are love and journeying! You never know the exact route or the exact destination, that's what makes both and all so very exciting. Your words really embrace their emotions, dear you. Thank you muchly for sharing. ' There were so many melodies, ~ On my way to you ..' says much and more. Of course, the music has to be exactly right, if nothing else!

It's all about the journey, my beautiful friend. The senses have a way of telling us things in code, and we can either choose to listen or disregard them. Love the imagery you've used here, which paints an opposing picture--asphalt and love entertwined in such a beautiful way. Sometimes even if love is not fully realized, moments such as these stick with us as beautiful gifts, and if that love is eventually realized they become little strings that hold two souls together. Lovely...

This made me smile. Making your way somewhere then it seems as if you stop on the roadside to take in sights or maybe to write. Even laying in the road which is something I used to love doing, growing up. I like the light, breezy feel. Such a free spirited poem. Another beautiful summer day with your beloved in mind.

Very good music and amazing poetry. Made me desire a long road trip and to find a good place to dance and sing.
"The Road of love

A journey to love. The journey is all important. Destinations do not exist That is my view. Especially in love. We take a journey through love to special places where we linger. This says it in the most calm and gentle way that touches all the right places in the reader.

Regardless of the length of the journey, how many curves and traffic jams we find, if that road leads to love, then it is full speed ahead. Elisa, hard to imagine asphalt mingled in with such tenderness and beauty, but this road you have describe is written on a map that I keep folded tightly in my heart. So very wondrous are your words that miles become mere minutes as your poem travels through my mind. You are an amazing poet with soft feelings and gorgeous images greeting us in every thing you write. I am in awe of your pen.

Someone is at the door, it is a man delivering a beautiful bouquet of love...it is your poem that he hands me.
