~ Energy

Under the sunset in our vision,

And some shadows of the grapes,

I felt your warmth, upon my skin;

You smelled like dusty earth mixed

With my old volcanic soil,

The cemetery was flowered

With cherry blossom,

But only we could see the

Other side so green,

You embraced my soul, and life,

With your dead smile embroiled in

Beauty,

               You knew me, as I you…

Your dark hair

Danced down my cheeks

With the help of the wind,

And our bones became one…

I am stunned. This is gorgeous. I agree. lol Perfectly done!! The visuals and romantics lol are to die for. Such beautiful energy felt here while engaged in this story of two dead lovers. Soul-mates.

Under the sunset in our vision,
And some shadows of the grapes,

I felt your warmth, upon my skin;

The beginning is so powerful, setting the air for the depth it precedes. The idea of the dust mixing. Being at last complete. Looking with eager eyes at the other side while in each other arms.. Wow! This poem is perfect Elisa. Truly xx

I thought of Romeo and Juliet as I read this. Not even death could keep them apart. The background music was wonderful too. Everything that you pen seems so light and innocent.

Your dark hair
Danced down my cheeks
With the help of the wind,
And our bones became one…

Pure magic....

A very romantic day of the dead here. I am reminded of eternity in these lines and the path to it is lined in cherry blossoms. It is a most haunting and beautiful poem.

This is absolutely captivating...saturated in the feeling of physical, emotional and almost sacred oneness. When love penetrates the soul...there is nothing to hide. nothing else matters. you are a very talented writer. Gorgeous poem here.

I see love in the south. Warm halcyon days and a certain peace. A precious memory to keep and here you have beautifully.

Thank you kindly sir...
Perhaps we're left with inherent touches.. spaces filled with memories that wriggle into their true places and stay forever. If i've read correctly, you've said that so very beautifully, Elisa .. ' You embraced my soul, and life .. .. ' Real.
