 Light in the Sky

Stabbing metal pain,

      Burning through each line

Of my so cold body -

The smell of ozone,  far away,

Misty,  mighty grand dense clouds

In front of my train of thought

And a rail of blindness ;

     Cold chilly Icy wind,

The smell of ozone, yet behind

      Thunderstorms are on the way

Within this core of being;

There is light in the Sky,

For those who are

     In deep pain,

And for those who are just feeling

To be in tune with nature and to feel the change of weather before it occurs, a lightening before it strikes.. Being highly sensitive is not to be weak. On the contrary, it lets you perceive more than the ones who are not. It allows for you to more easily make out an entirety rather than a snippet, whilst aware there is more than meets the eye.

You express sympathy, comfort, togetherness.. by the end it is evident. It has its highs and lows to be a feeler, as with everything. Your hurt is my hurt is everyone's hurt, and I am reminded of "Powder", his wisdom and the suffering he had to endure prior to and during every thunderstorm. You describe a powerful sensing here, of what is and what is to come.

Next to fear there is love, a yin and yang for balance. You stand in between duality with a tentacle to each side that lets you sense both planes, similar to a butterfly, receptive as an antenna.. All is accessible to everyone. We're no different and there is beauty in that, in everything, whether it'd be considered negative, it is fuel for the inner artist.

Your writing is always exceedingly deep. It's fantastic, a pleasure to read and examine :)) xx

Very nice. The metaphor of the train in associated with thinking was quite effective. To me I felt as if the weather was taking place inside with all its natural ups and downs. Then, the reference to light..xx Truly a beautiful poem and very deep which of course I adore. Possano i tuoi cieli essere chiaro e le vostre giornate belle.

It has come to my attention that somehow and some way, you seem to be improving as a writer. Which is the best of things you can be doing, so well done :) I can't exactly pinpoint it, but I've never been one to need specification on getting a feel for something. A wise writer once wrote that if you get criticism telling how you should have done it otherwise, they're wrong! Because it's your work not theirs. But if someone tells you there is something wrong without specifying, they're write. Here it works in the opposite. You're gaining, and it's good :) Thanks a bunch.

With regards to the poem, what can I say that wasn't suggested - an intenseness of discrepancy suggested at the end hit it home for me. Those who are, and those who are not. Great :) Thanks for sharing.

Interesting. I'm gathering a foreboding feeling from this piece. I enjoy that. It puts a smile on my face in a darker fashion. I hope my perception of your work isn't too far from your intended portrayal.

It requires to feel the wrath, the anguish to recognize the light. This is one of the many life's paradoxes that we sometimes forget to understand because we are too overwhelmed with so much negativity, not realizing that to feel them born the higher forms of virtue.

It so good to read you again, sis...love lots... :)

For those who are
In deep pain,
And for those who are just feeling

These last lines are just hitting many spots on my tiny, and sometimes numb heart... this made me smile, and just look at the skies and find the hope behind each lines of clouds, finding the sun that will warm the cold hearts of today.

oh mental pian
makes our heart drown in the rain
here, here, the life saver of hope
for us to cope
every stabbing
we keep on healing
the lights is all we needed
for the wounds to be sealed in this life's cycled wheel...

You have placed me in the middle of an April thunderstorm through the electric power of your squiggly ultra-violet beaming poem. Perhaps I’ll write a thunderstorm poem too:

Blue

Thunder, wind, and rain
take away my pain.
Flashing streaks of blue
form the eyes of you.

You're welcome!
dear Elisa Laura... Our weather has been
exactly as you have described the cold
chilly ice wind with a dark sky. Now there
is hope with sunshine and a bit of warmth.
Your golden pen has painted the end if
winter when March comes in like a Lion...
with a roar that pierces your heart and
soul... but then a lamb will appear
with blossoms and tenderness.
truly... Pat
