Stereotypes

Stereotypes

A Poem by
"

This is met to get people to see how ridiculous these are.

"

Why do we make stereotypes?

Is it out of hate and jealousy

Is it out of lust of for fun

What if we were all the other one?

ALL ASAINS would be dunking basketballs

Collecting welfare because they are lazy and dumb

They'd have big schlongs and would steal their cars

Riding in Caddies and taking off white girls bras

ALL BLACK PEOPLE would be driving tractors

Talking about confederates and setting crosses on fire

They'd be missing teeth and blaring country

And they'd sue everyone collecting money

ALL ISLANDERS will be human calculators

But they'llhave little schlongs and won't be able to drive

They'll all have slanted eyes and be 5 feet tall

They'd drive smart cars and play Poke'mon

ALL WHITE PEOPLE will surf all day

Wearing oversized clothing with flowers and grass skirts

They'd wear coconut bras and always say Aloha

They'd eat nothing but pineapples and fruity stuff

See how ridiculous this is how could this be true

Just because the color of them they're different

Why do we come up with these I don't know

If only we'd stop it we'd all have cleaner souls

Author's Note

I wanted everyone to see how dumb these stereotypes are. I wanted to show that if you put it with someone else it sounds ridiculous. I hope you enjoyed and learned something. Thanks for the reviews.

you did a great job mixing and matching stereo-types by race. i agree they do sound silly. it's ridiculous because stereo-types are so ingrained in the human race that when you attach them where you least expect them, it's just so outrageous. the descriptions are offensive on their own already. great way to make a statement. excellent poem.
