~ Energy

Under the sunset in our vision,

And some shadows of the grapes,

I felt your warmth, upon my skin;

You smelled like dusty earth mixed

With my old volcanic soil,

The cemetery was flowered

With cherry blossom,

But only we could see the

Other side so green,

You embraced my soul, and life,

With your dead smile embroiled in

Beauty,

               You knew me, as I you…

Your dark hair

Danced down my cheeks

With the help of the wind,

And our bones became one…

I am stunned. This is gorgeous. I agree. lol Perfectly done!! The visuals and romantics lol are to die for. Such beautiful energy felt here while engaged in this story of two dead lovers. Soul-mates.

Under the sunset in our vision,
And some shadows of the grapes,

I felt your warmth, upon my skin;

The beginning is so powerful, setting the air for the depth it precedes. The idea of the dust mixing. Being at last complete. Looking with eager eyes at the other side while in each other arms.. Wow! This poem is perfect Elisa. Truly xx

I love how you polarize the deadness and aliveness in us, in life, in so many different ways. A truly spectacular piece. Thank you

If I were the roots of a vineyard, that fell in love, with the earth... If I were the leaves of the vine, that fell in love with the sun... This is what I think of, sweet Sis, when I read this... Pieces of life that are meant for one another, loves that are so natural, they could not be any other way... Sis, this is so romantic!

Thank you my dear buddy! good to see you around again, hope all is well :) -x- Lis :)
I was drawn into this poem by its title because I know a lot about energy. Sooner or later we all end up as spent energy. In time, our entire universe shall wind down to zero as all of its useful energy is used up. The big mystery is where all the original useful energy came from in the first place. When this useful energy is restored, then we'll all be restored. We walk in the shadow of the grape. I enjoyed this wonderful dark grape wine poem of yours. Here’s a tiny inspired gift poem for you.

Wine

Drink a cup of useful energy
before you go to bed.
It will do a lot of good for both
your tummy and your head.
