Dream Island

Dream Island

A Poem by
"

Escape to paradise...

"

Think about your happy place...
A spot that isn't wrapped all fancy in silk and lace
Wherever you want to travel,
Whether it be dangerous or safe
The one land you can go to escape
Perhaps it be a creek, or a bay
Of your creation...your own unique landscape
Now close your eyes and smile, for no one can shake
The one realm that can recreate your whole day.
Discover your dimension
Ponder the possibilities of the world you lay in
Tear away the tension
Burn it with all your animation
For this is only your session
Fly over the universe, to the welkin
As if you weighed no more than one tendon
Float over that sunset, free and trenchant
Give it all your sweet attention
Because this is your break-away, a lush suspension.

when i was reading this i was thinking of the song 'Paradise' by Coldplay. I love the description in the scenery and how u want people to be pulled into the happy mood. i really loved it :)

I like to go to the Big Surf. Find a hidden beach and be content. The poem is true. We need a happy place to go to. Imagination is nice. Better to have a escape plan and enjoy life for a moment. I like the ending to the outstanding poetry.
