life itself

and sometimes life is just that

there are no grand metaphors

to beautify the monotony of routine

solace cannot be found

by wrapping oneself in insignificant cliches

however, creating beauty through metaphors

and weaving blankets from cliches

provides a filter in which life

is not just that

but so much more
