His World

His World

A Poem by Wulf
"

His world was his safe haven

"

He Watched through the window

As The day passed on

In His own little world

From evening to dawn

In This world he escapes all his pain

His World of fantasy with monsters and knights

In This he lives, this world of his own

Anything Could happen, nothing out of sight

One Day everything went wrong

The Sky turned black, his world was shattered

It All fell apart

He Lost what mattered

He Slumped against the door and crashed to the ground

He Searched his head, his world, he just couldn't find

Tear Rolled down his cheeks and stained the floor

He Let out a cry "Am I not safe, even in my own mind?!"

It Was gone, he had lost it all

He Got up, shaken from the core

He Opened a drawer and pulled out a gun

Then He yelled out "I Don't belong here anymore!"

He Closed his eyes and put the gun to his head

Then Pulled the trigger and they both did fall

With A clatter, motionless on the floor

The Blood had painted his picture on the wall

Silence Rang throughout the house

It Rang out like a haunting song

His Body lay crumpled, forever stilled

Yet His soul ran free once more, in a world were he belonged
