Vulnerable

Vulnerable

A Poem by Wycked
"

The feeling of being defenseless and vulnerable

"

The sadness and sorrow spread like tendrils of ice ….

Permeating my consciousness

Leaving me wounded and shaken to the core

My head and my heart are warring against each other

Each wanting their own way

Each having opposite conclusions

The voice of reason cannot be heard

Chaos and despair each drowning out the truth

Leaving me blind and defenseless, vulnerable

this poem is powerful and convincing, I could really feel the conviction behind the wording.
the form has a way of carrying your words, and the sets the idea in motion nicely, keep up the great work

I like how you give the feeling of the war between the head and heart. Nice job! :)
