Heart and Soul

Heart and Soul

A Poem by Wycked

The tear in my heart weeps blood
For the tears my eyes can not shed
Each breath more painful then the last
Overwhelms all thought in my head

Lips quivering with emotion
The weight more then I can bare
Stillness surrounds me waiting
As I look for you n your not there

I wonder down the road
feeling lost and empty inside
there is no were i can roam
from this despair i cannot hide

Silence is my companion
Acceptance the only way
The road closes up behind me
Forgotten in the light of day

There is no were I can go
No place that I can pretend
That this hole I have inside
Can ever be filled again

When I have reached the end of the road
I think I should have said no
I never knew how hard it would be
When I finally had to let you go

Such a touching poem.
The rhyming was well used, really helped give the poem the air it has. One of sorrow & a little regret.
One thing though, there are various spelling mistakes.
Otherwise, really great write.

Yours truly,

Very well done. Great flow as well.

Deep and dark piece. Masterfully, yet simply, describes a path to depression and social seclusion. I felt it.
Good write.
