Chronicles of the Never Ending

Chronicles of the Never Ending

A Poem by Wynnter Silvershade

There are two protagonists in this short poem: My mind, who is the real me And the other one, is the vessel, the one people judges and cannot see what is beneath it

I stare at never ending abyss.
My mind, it keeps pushing me over to the edge.
Waiting for the fall.
I place my numbing hands on this bare shoulders,
and gently whisper memories into her ear.
I'm raw, I feel anger, I feel pain... I feel nothing? I feel everything at once.
Sorrow. Sorrow. Sorrow.
Go to sleep. Don't wake up. Lay in the cold stone ground forever.
