Thanks for thanksgiving,

 

Thanks for the season,

 that no matter cheer is always upon us.

 

Thanks for the fire,

that helps fend off Jack Frost.

 

Thanks for the day,

a cooked fowl will bring families round.

 

Thanks for the feast,

that will surpass all others.

 

Thanks for the friends,

that without what joy would there be?

 

Thanks for the love,

That binds a family tight.

 

But in the end we all must say,
