Coldex Comfortable

Coldex Comfortable

A Poem by Austin Wade Runyon

Coldex Comfortable
by Sundrowner

I went to a place that was cold
It was all hedges and mist with a blue filter
The air inhaled felt like a menthal cigarette
In the maze was a brightly lit trailer park wrapped in led lights
There was no life here
That's not to say that there couldn't be life here
Life can exist anywhere it just doesn't
I appreciated the peace
It felt like it was meant for me
I wondered if anyone else had seen what I had seen
And if they had did they perceive what I perceived
Or did their memories delete?
Probably
The universe is me
I am cold and empty
But what are drugs if not feelings?
