In my dream

SILENCE !

SILENCE !

 

As gunshots echo in the distance

two more pointless deaths

and destruction,

The white flag is hoisted

up the pole, 

Please save us

Keep us safe and whole

Tears, Full bellied crying,

no more lying about what

the war is really for,

Religion !

Money !

Power !

World leadership

cant sustain, 

The tower of endless pain

Hugs, warmth of touch

relief that we all need so much

Children's laughter giggles

at the sign of peace,
