Room 13

So this is a poem I wrote as like a prologue to a book I'm writing...

It sits at the top of the stairs,
In the dark, mysterious house,
A door,
A room,
Behind it a scream

I know it’s forbidden,
I know it’s not aloud,
I know if I go up there,
Pain will come about

I look at the door,
I feel my heart flutter,
I know it’s forsaken,
But it’s so luring

So lustful,
So dangerous,
Such an interesting feel

I slowly creep up the stairs,
And the curse of Room 13
Reappears
