I'm not chasing after someone that I know can never be mine.

Why can't you look at me like you look at her?

Why can't you smile around me like you do around her?

Why can't you laugh around me like you do around her?

Why can't you text me all the time like you do with her?

How can I forgot, when you're always on my mind.

When I said I had enough, 

I haven't given up. 

When I saw you with her,

I told myself, "so what?"

When I saw you laughing with her,

I told myself, "I don't care."

All those things you were doing with her,

I wish that could've been me.

How would you know I liked you, cared for you and loved you,

if you were busy loving someone else?

I'm done trying because I know it's never going to work.

I'm not going to change myself just so you can like me.

I'm just going to have to accept it. 

But will you ever realize how I was feeling?
