It won’t be long until day and night
Become one with tranquility
And the motives for being euphoric
Will no longer anguish this soul
Sanity will not hold on to the chains of
Attraction
And memoirs won’t yearn for regrets
These hands that once caressed hearts
That never loved back
Will finally rest and be forever still
These eyes that twinkled spiritedly
And merged dreams of splendor before
Going to sleep
Will soon be unsighted by the lasting absence
of gratification
This haven within my boundaries
Apparent to the flowers and the trees that
Prove unawareness
Will make up for all that it seems
To be unemotional
In my mind
