And Then, There Were None

And Then, There Were None

A Poem by Vicky Zhuang Yi-Yin
"

Success blinds some people, and some use the wrong ways to become successful... but even then, suddenly, there were none... there is an end to everything

"

On top of the world

The world at their feet

They crumbled and fell

Overcome by defeat

They had it all coming

Their pride set too high

Blinded by triumph

Logic thrown aside

They climbed to the top

Ruins left behind

Never looking back

Losses clearly defined

Up and up they went

Reason after action

Win and take all

And then, there were none…

No matter how high your go up the ladder in the the end you fall back down to the the earth...becoming the very dust you came from...you put a simple topic of words in your verse...and easy to understand...as one reads down the lines...
