The Lack Thereof

The Lack Thereof

A Poem by Alex Boyd
"

Just a poem about a love and lost...

"

She never said a word but still her conversation was down to earth
And I, just wanting to be free like the birds and the bees though I lack the honey still rejection is the sweetest taste that I ever did see
The lack thereof, the lack thereof

Living in a bad world was a good girl and by her presence she did perform many miracles ...
So tell me, "When you fell from heaven's grace did you spread your wings and fly away? Or did you take form of the earth's moon shedding light to the one's who are romantically doom?"
The lack thereof, the lack thereof

Falling in love isn't the hardest part but being in love no matter the regards
No matter how hard life comes at ya, still cupids arrow comes right at ya...
Everyday is a mystery, every night fold creates a new love symmetry...
Woe is me, Woe is me, for the lack thereof
She'll never complete me.......

very good Alex, certainly brings home the sadness of life when love is lost, the sheer loss in the words 'She'll never complete me' are so heartrending and the lines:
'So tell me, "When you fell from heaven's grace did you spread your wings and fly away? Or did you take form of the earth's moon shedding light to the one's who are romantically doom?"
are sheer poetic beauty, needless to say I love this poem, bravo my friend :)

I love the way you have you have made those sentences, they give you the touch of the time when romance bloomed and the love was more than sex, the emotions of things that are lost and longing for something is very difficult to cope with.
