Girl Through Glass

Girl Through Glass

A Poem by YourXArtist

There's a girl through glass

Staring back at me

An outcast

Waiting to be free

Long walks through dark,distant hallways

Reaching for a hand

Upon dark,dreary days

Who's slowly sinking through sand

Unheard screams,pleads, and cries

Cooling the heart,frozen

Always feeling lke saying goodbye

To the path that has been chosen

People walk by,She's unheard, unseen

Alone,unloved,unnoticed,not there

Her thoughts, they lean

She wishes someone would care

Then, one person comes by

He see's her just fine

Happiness, she could cry

Become closer, their hearts intertwine

He hugs her everyday

To remind her she's not alone

She feels loved, and wants him to stay

Because, for once she's not on her own

Her hearts' emptiness has finally been overthrown

I can feel the sadness and emotions intertwine in this well written piece. This is simply amazing. I like the emotions expressed. Very well written.
