Yin and Yang

Yin and Yang

A Poem by Zach
"

I saw a Yin Yang and this just sorta came out...

"

What are we to each other?

You bright and sunny,

Myself dark and scary.

Two halves

Of the same?

Are we

drawn

To one another?

Linked for an

Eternity.

Equal yet

Opposite.

Your elegance matched

Only by my strength.

If we were to end

The cycle of

Love and hate,

Beauty and pain

What would become of

Everything?

Two sides to

Every story,

Or so the say.

You and I know the truth,

Our compromises,

Not our seperate desires,

Keep this world intact.

Very nice. I like the addition you made, rounds out the poem quite nicely.

Hmm...I like where the poem was going but it ended too fast for me. I think you started exploring the question in the first stanza and only scratched the surface, maybe a few more lines?
