"Sweetly broken"

A Poem by Zack Burton
"

Poem #35. Uploaded Sunday November 28, 7:27 PM.

"
Sweetly broken
Like a saint
Charming token
Like a ring
Mold me, hero
Make me good
Make me zero
Ravage me
Sweetly broken
I'm so null
Softly spoken
Say no words
Crying gentle
When it ends
Bleeding mantle
For my God
Sweetly broken
The day gone
Fears unspoken
Darkness won

Brilliantly original rhyme scheme. All to often we see ABCB DEFE as an alternating line rhyme, but your ABAC DEDF is interesting and unexpected, making each unrhymed line pop out. Another well crafted poem.
