This Burns Her: And So She Rants and Rages

This Burns Her: And So She Rants and Rages

A Poem by Zackery Alan Daley
"

Hit the dance floor

"
Let us live only for loving,
And every time we enter a room together,
Let the hearts of the people stop.
Silence would signal,
That she's been cured of me,
But I can hear her screaming.

And I slur:
The shoddy, shiny emblem of my love,
Is hangin' 'round your neck,
The sole purpose of this token:
Is to taint your sublime mess of a head,
Suffusing over your holiness...
