Beatrice Oh! Deux

Beatrice Oh! Deux

A Poem by Zackery Alan Daley
"

An ode to an old friend and a new interest.

"
Lecherousness, I confess.
Ruined my last three relationships.
It came to this:
Three years of stress...
Over a thousand days of loneliness.

So maidenly make your way to me.
If only in a dream,
because of former lovers,
Fond of throwing men in gutters.
Don't dwell on it, things don't matter.
Unless you climb upon their social "Latter".
I spew and spatter,
While I mix cake batter,
'Cause I'm sick, sick of all of this.
Sick of all the s**t.

I can't even cry anymore, thanks to you w****s.

I don't know. Life can be a two-sided coin. I was no Angel. Most of us must test the water. Usually leaving people behind and not forgotten. I like the directness and honest words. Love is good timing and a lot of good luck. Must find someone on the same path with the same desire. Ain't easy. Thank you for a excellent poem.

well this one's certainly slips that serrated edge into the arena of the splatter of relationships~ your rhythm and rhyme sceme is almost playful~ almost . . . which makes it all the more subtly sinister with the closing of the word dance with that last line~
