Show Me Now

Show Me Now

A Poem by Zane

Show me now
How she did it
Got to you
So damn fast

I sat there
An hour, i waited
Sat in the rain
Singin that tune

Going over what to say
The words to end it all
To work up the courage
To sit there and watch you fall

Hope you like
That blonde, bimbo girl
The way she walks by,
I know you'll follow

Hope you like
The small, sly smile
That reveals the horrible truth
I know you'll never see

I hope i live to see
The day you get left behind
Live to hear the lies
When you come crawling back to me

Last to leave you
The stupid little girl i was
And now, I'll be the last to take you back

So show me now
That precious girl.
Brokenhearted, foolish boy
Show me now.

Very sharp and bitter poem. Nice job bringing that out.
