Using You Using Me

Using You Using Me

A Poem by Zhavy
"

So used to use

"

All of my life I’ve been used

As nothing more than a means to an end

In other words you could never contend

It was in me the only one you could ever depend

I would do whatever I can

To bring your sorrows to an end

So while you’re praising your boys

I’m commending my men

Don’t get me wrong I never meant to offend

It’s just I’ve been writing this message

I’ve been meaning to send

I promised I would never be broke

But I never expected to bend

You could never comprehend

That this was the 2 cents I never wanted to spend

But it’s about time to bring all this f**k s**t to an end

Because I’m just sick and tired of playing pretend

So don’t call me your friend

That’s just a title I’ve been meaning to amend

Your turns of phrase just take us with you, meandering from one wisdom to the next. There was no question from the very first words that whomever had screwed up, and that we (the readers) were in your corner. That gift of persuasion in storytelling is not as common as you would think, in fact it's quite rare.
Keep it up! I learn from you! :):)

Wow, well said. Never nice getting used. When you have a good heart, mind and soul. And eventually, the worm turns. And stands up for themselves. Never to be used again. By that said person.
