Cunning Wind

Cunning Wind

A Poem by Md. Ziaul Haque

Wind most of the time is a blessing,

But now and then its nature gets renovated,

Acting like an uncontrollable being,

Moving violently toward the rear and ahead.

This is what the cunning wind is like,

Nothing can put a stop to its route,

Even the Great Wall of China can’t stop its strike,

Earning the name of a powerful brute.

The cunning wind is both present and absent,

A mechanism to pacify it is yet to invent!

Wind and water… both are inexorable and have shaped and will continue to shape our world no matter what we will. Interesting and cultivated lines on the power and life of the wind.
