Dash

Sprinkle in some stress
Makes your mind a mess
I have to confess
College tests you less
It's pretty fun there,
Really, 'cause they care
About your mental
State, they create
Place to meditate
And decide your fate

But before college?
Imagine a stage:
In the middle a cage
You sit in a rage
With tacks and legos
Below toes and elbows,
Do not suppose
It's a comfy repose,
Living disposed
To apathetic foes;
Your instructor knows
It's all for show
Just to break your nose
Tear ragged your clothes
Tossed to and fro
That's how it goes

Close your eyes and cry
It'll be alright,
They're just wanting you to die.

This recalled to me the lyrics of the John Lennon song 'Working Class Hero' .
~ 'They hate you if you're clever
and they despise the fool
...til you're so f**king messed up
you just follow their rules'.

This is good.
