Oh mommy!! I am still waiting

This poem is about the kid who is waiting for his mother by the shore. It talks about how he feels there waiting for his mother.

oh mommy
you asked me to wait by the shore
you'll get me an ice cream
my favourite cone!!

oh mommy,
its so breezy
i am getting sneezy
its so stormy here
but no no i have no fear

oh mommy
there is a crab near my feet
i kick him, but he wont leave
its getting dark here
the water is getting near
but no no i have no fear

oh mommy
why is it so cold?
i am wrapping my jacket tight
like you would do every night
i feel it's getting late
we must get home
before granny locks the gate

oh mommy
i feel hot
i cant breath,
chattering my teeth
a time or three
but mommy, why wont you come?
to please take me home

oh mommy
the sun is getting up again
now waiting wont be a pain,
I'll wait for you by the shore
i dont want an ice cream, no cone
i wont move, not a foot or ten
for i know, then
you'll cry for your sweet son, Ben
