"Stagnant, Silent, Still"

"Stagnant, Silent, Still"

A Poem by mackenzi_drew

Stagnant,
still water
no flow
from the river
colder than winter
harsh as whirling snow
Silent
like a deep sleep
rocky cliff
dangerously steep
Solitude; a webbed spider
cocoon of isolation
Still
is a statue
Dull
is this dead town
Tired
is a dead rose
chilled to the bone
