A Poem by mackenzi_drew

The newspapers are
accumulating at the door
of the closed business on the corner
and beginning to disintegrate
into tiny little fragments
from the intensity
of last weeks rain storm

The clean up is gonna be a bother. There is so much that can be seen in these lines. But the freshness brought by the rains is a promise. That balances it all out. Thanks for sharing.
