Frigid gaze

Frigid gaze

A Poem by a_methyste
"

I felt it all, Coming, Bitter, Over my body! Prejudice shaped, Colored in judgement, Co-living with darkness, death as strangulates my warm throat. Flagrant interconnection,

"
I felt it all,
Coming,
Bitter,
Over my body!
Prejudice shaped,
Colored in judgement,
Co-living with darkness,
death as strangulates my warm throat.
Flagrant interconnection,
if only my kind were solitary DNA,
Rumbling over the forest,
Friend with trees.
Solitary coyote.
I gaze up!
All the colors of the scenery!
The show of the stars, the dearest lullaby!
The promise of a cosmic wonderland,
Of freedom!
I got it from them.
It is all missing this day!
What is happening?
Where did all come from?
Is this real?
Let me be myself,
Or leave me alone!

A variety of thoughts and emotions, seem to be expressed here. You seem to be exclaiming your individuality, and yearning to live that way without judgement. Otherwise, how else could you be free enough to enjoy your life to the max? Indeed, you would rather avoid those people; who make it difficult or impossible to be your natural self?
