i wrote this on another sight but i wanted to know what you would think.

I held her once.

Close to my heart.

 

I loved her once.

With all my soul.

 

I kissed her once.

With all my passion.

 

I was with her,

once.

I was by her side.

 

I could hold her hand,

once,

but no more.

 

I could fill her lips,

once,

but now I fill nothing.

 

I cold fill her warmth,

once,

but now my heart is cold.

 

I held her,

once.

 

Once...

 

but now,

only the cold ground,

and a cold rock.

Is all I can hold.

 

I held her,

once.
