Brick Wall of Puzzles

People are so confusing…?

How many times do I need to state my feelings?

You leave me with warm memories

Make your mark in my heart

yet you just confuse me

You say this, but do that

You say you don’t like me,

but why do you hug me?

Why do you brush my hair from my face?

Why do you give me these loving gestures

And ignore them?

I don’t want to believe you’re that cold-hearted

I refuse.

I don’t want you to tell me they were a mistake

When they mean everything to me

Do they mean so little to you?

You make me feel stupid, 

And I keep running our conversations over and over

Trying to interpret your actions; words

You don’t align

I want to get away from you

But you hold onto me as a dear friend

Not what I want you as

So I’d rather run away

and escape from you’re antagonizing grasp

Than sit here and be destroyed by your brick wall of puzzles

Very deep and meaningful poem.
The woman in this poem does seem confused and puzzled, i would be to, so many mixed signals.
I liked this poem had plenty meaning and emotion.

We are a complex lot, aren't we? We show one thing while saying another and as you say, confuse with words and actions spoken in different languages. Sometimes it just isn't meant to be, yet other times showing them what they will miss is just the kick they need. Unfortunately, there are no ways of guaranteeing success no matter which path you take.
Your last line sums up perfectly the confusion found within leaving things as they are....Than sit here and be destroyed by your brick wall of puzzles.
