The TripA Story by Abdallah Yashir
I felt a bit dizzy or maybe sleepy.
I could barely open my eyes. All I remembered was the incessant long journey that I took part in. I slept throughout the ride. The big spacious coach was parked on the street near an empty plot of land. I was alone inside. I tried opening the front door. It was locked. I tried the back door. Same thing. Outside, the weather looked dull. My watch indicated exactly Eleven O’Clock ; though I thought it was probably late in the afternoon. I did not notice it until now. The streets were completely empty. No car, no person - not even a stray dog could be seen. And the pointers in my watch ; stood still. © 2016 Abdallah YashirAuthor's Note
