The Holy Treasure Hunter

The Holy Treasure Hunter

A Poem by disconnectedspirit

Discoveries of a Map

An ancient papyrus map rolled into a scroll,

Trails are drawn on the sheet to follow the quest,

Yellow and worn with familiarity and time,

Star marked areas that lead to whispered secrets,

Darkness mixed with images of light,

Scattered thoughts, imagination and emotions with creativity,

Longings and pain etched onto the weathered paper atlas,

Gathering a combination of Holy treasures to keep and ancient relics that should remain lost.
