Seven Fears

Seven Fears

A Poem by Aly Mendoza
"

This is not a poem. This is a list of what I fear the most.

"

1.       1. I am afraid of knowing a lot about a person because I do not know if by knowing that certain information, I can still accept him/her.

2.       2. I am afraid of forgetting that very thing a person did for me to curse him/her because I’m easy at forgiving like nothing happened.

3.      3.  I am afraid to getting old. I might as well end my life after I turn 60. No, I won't. I am not stupid.

4.      4.  I am afraid of being too attached to a person because when I do, I won’t be able to let them go.

5.      5.  I am afraid of not praying at night because I might do something bad the next day.

6.      6.  I’m afraid of leaving people behind because I’d be hurt to know they don’t care.

7.      7.  I’m afraid of dressing up because someone will surely like me for that and I am not ready for that, yet.
