Living in the Sky with Diamonds

Living in the Sky with Diamonds

A Poem by Adam

Within my heart lies

the Bird and the

Worm, the Flower

and the Bee,

all fighting for control

The constant

tempests,

the pent up

rage,

the bittwesweet

confusion,

the infrequent rays of

sunlight

Rocks me to and fro,

across the great Aethers

of space,

through Heaven's doors,

over the jagged perspectives

of my mind

and leaves me utterly lost!

Haha, that last line caught me by surprise.
Your use of archaic diction really gives it a sense of a Lord Byron-esque style or is similar to the style of e. e. cummings (which would make sense because he IS your favorite author) yet its different somehow, like you put your own spin on the perspective of the story your poem is telling.

Another good one =]
