You

You

A Poem by Adam

As now I lie down to sleep,
Thoughts drift aimlelessly through my Being.
Reccolections of Past Times unceasingly
Gnaw at the inner fibers of me, and
Yet, only good times can I remember.

No more do dark thoghts free-flow
Where happiness should only tread;
No longer shall distrust and Pride blind me
To what truly is in front of mine eyes.
I now can say with a heart sincere,
That naught has changed of the way
I view you as who I know you are:

You are my friend.
You are my family.
You own a peice of my heart.

This I know, will never change.

i enjoyed this poem, its simple and cute, it shows that certain people can change you and make you happier, overall great write, theres just one thing i noticed and its that you spelled recollections wrong, but it didnt mess up the flow of the story.
