A Heaven for Stars

A Heaven for Stars

A Poem by stargirl23

stars’ passion is what makes them ignite

casting a luminescent glow unto our lives

and although some think of them

simply as external flares with gaseous insides

they do no harm, save put strain on our necks--

for we seem to love to look up--

so when they collapse in a last fiery display

do they not go to Heaven?

Love the symbology in this. Would have chosen a different ending. I think most of us tend to think of the starts as being heavenly.

Adi, The sky filled with stars represents such peaceful and melodic romantic representations. In this piece you imbue them with life, personifying them with human like qualities...brilliant imagery! It takes a good bit of talent to say so much in such a short write but you have achieved it successfully here. Great job! take care...dan
