Two Comets

to behold the light display when two comets collide 

is a beloved sight for a remote audience, but

those close to them are hurt�"for no fault save their own

they do not know it is better to leave them alone

the comets follow their streaking tails and starlight gut

to have a new comet form from their crumbled sides
