Teddy Bear Day

Teddy Bear Day

A Poem by Ady Dost
"

When I was in preschool, the teachers requested that we bring teddy bears to school one day so I decided to make one.

"

Soft fabric,

Tight string,

Button eyes,

Whirr of a machine.

Make your own bear

For school the next day.

Others were going to

Just bring one

Pre-made.

But no, not I.

I would make my own.

I love it! Homemade versus pre-made is no contest. You're an artisan; the others were consumers. You're going far.
