Hopes and Dreams

...sometimes things happen for a reason

 

On a dreary day I found

That my heart could beat again

The hopes and dreams of another

 

You came into my life silently,

Unbeknownst to me

In the guise of a warrior

 

You would come and give me

Something to hold on to,

Something to believe in again

 

The sound of your voice,

Soft words spoken gently

On a quiet night’s breeze

I hear them still…

 

Faith and the hint of other thoughts

Lingering translucently, waiting

To be discovered together…

 

Only time will tell

What the future holds

Destiny abound…

How lovely,Amanda... You describe what happens when dreams come true. I hear too often folks say that they don't need anyone to be happy, but I just don't buy it. We were created to love. Sure we can exist without it, but we can't really live a truly happy and fulfilled life.

A silent warrior comes along and sweeps you off into the stars...

And you believe again...
Hold on yet again...
