Been told my opinion didn't matter

Well, I’m sorry my words are like a gun

I'm sorry if my words are just banter

Let’s be real I have an opinion

It’s gonna take a lot to shut me up

Words empower me and make my mouth run

I am not so sorry to interrupt

If I give you sugar I’d be lying

We’re taught a few lies make a mind corrupt

It’s as if I’ve spent my whole life trying

I can't stop the words coming from my mind

True the words are never satisfying

Maybe what I say is a little blind

But just you wait till my words are refined
